Simple Business hotel with no frills. Staff are helpful and polite.

The pillows are too small, too flat and too soft

reception staff can not communicate with our guest. It is so terrible. How inconvenience our guest receive. Hotel can not issue an invoice when you choose option pre-paid on Booking.com. However, on statement I received still adding accommodation tax each night but can not issue an invoice. There are bad customer service I ever had before.

Location , staff were able to help me when I needed, check in and check out easy and fast, the lounge with complimentary drinks for free was good too , I had coffee in the morning and whiskey by night, thank you

It is a genuine 3 start stay. Don’t expect anything more. Clean and staff friendly. Room small and typical step up into very very snall bathroom you expect in budget accommodation. Breakfast was a takeaway pack you pick up at the front desk. Plenty of food but average. We were not disappointed as we paid budget price knowing what we would get. A nice touch at 5pm with complimentary bubblies in the lounge- coupled with a few rounds of gin rummy after a day of sightseeing it was appreciated.

Hotel a bit old but still not too bad quite comfortable and convenient to train station. I like the free coffee, too bad I can't drink as there is wine and soft drinks provided for guest also.

The property is in prime location. Staff was rude.How come 12 years old girl stay alone in a place new to the customer.

Breakfast was a good portion, and there was convenient transit both into Fukuoka proper and to Kyushu University, which I was visiting for work. Plenty of restaurants in the neighbourhood to get dinner at as well. The price is very competitive and affordable.

While the food was good, the breakfast lacked options. The trip into downtown Fukuoka is straightforward (1-2 trains, depending on time and need for transfer), but does take 40-50 minutes, so not ideal if you are planning to spend a lot of time downtown. The neighbourhood around the hotel and Chikuzen-Maebaru is very quiet, though, so the long transit time might be worth it to you.

The location was good, accessible via JR train within walking distance.

The worst value for price in all our stays within Japan (including Tokyo stays). The room is literally so small we had to arrange who moves from bed to toilet so we can actually move. Only 1 person could walk at a time (less than 70 cm walking room width)Pictures were depicted in such a way that did not convey how tiny it is. There was barely any space to even put our bags & when packing we had to do it in turns because there was no space to put couple t-shirts next to each other while at the same time be both in the room.

the hotel is very clean. it is located nearby Chikuzen Maebaru train station. there is also car park at the hotel but the parking is based on first come first served. anyway, if the parking is full you can park your car at a paid parking just in front of the hotel.

the room is quite small

The restaurant is not operating. They provided a bento of katsu sandwich, fried egg and sausage. The bentos were made the day before, so everything was cold and soggy. Not terrible. But not exactly what you want for breakfast.Room was small and not cleaned properly.Staff was nice, but not overly helpful or attentive.

I liked the location of the hotel. It was easy to access by car and I heard it's close to the train station. There was parking available at the hotel and also a nearby pay lot. My hotel room was comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. I also highly appreciate the staff who spoke Japanese and some English. There was a situation where I left my tablet behind in the hotel room and not only did they secure it but they agreed to mail it to me since I live so far away. That is above and beyond what I expected. Staff is excellent.
